The Air Car, developed by ex-Formula One engineer Guy N. For Luxembourg-based MDI, uses compressed air to push its engine's pistons and make the car go.

The Air Car, called the "Mini CAT" could cost around 365,757 rupees in India or $8,177 US.

The Mini CAT which is a simple, light urban car, with a tubular chassis, a body of fiberglass that is glued not welded and powered by compressed air. A Microprocessor is used to control all electrical functions of the car. One tiny radio transmitter sends instructions to the lights, turn signals and every other electrical device on the car. Which are not many.

The temperature of the clean air expelled by the exhaust pipe is between 0-15 degrees below zero, which makes it suitable for use by the internal air conditioning system with no need for gases or loss of power.

There are no keys, just an access card which can be read by the car from your pocket. According to the designers, it costs less than 50 rupees per 100 KM, that's about a tenth the cost of a car running on gas. It's mileage is about double that of the most advanced electric car, a factor which makes it a perfect choice for city motorists. The car has a top speed of 105 KM per hour or 60 mph and would have a range of around 300 km or 185 miles between refuels. Refilling the car will take place at adapted gas stations with special air compressors. A fill up will only take two to three minutes and costs approximately 100 rupees and the car will be ready to go another 300 kilometers.

This car can also be filled at home with it's on board compressor. It will take 3-4 hours to refill the tank, but it can be done while you sleep.
Because there is no combustion engine, changing the 1 liter of vegetable oil is only necessary every 50,000 KM or 30,000 miles. Due to its simplicity, there is very little maintenance to be done on this car.

Reactions to animal allergens may be very mild or quite severe. Symptoms may occur immediately after exposure to the allergen, or they may build gradually for 8-12 hours after exposure or become persistent.

The usual symptoms of indoor allergic reactions are those of many other allergic reactions include itchy, stuffy nose, clear nasal discharge, itchy, watery, swollen, bloodshot eyes, sneezing, scratchy, swollen throat, cough, wheezing, and tightness in the chest.

If the symptoms of the allergic reaction worsen or do not improve with removal of the allergen, call a physician. If you are having persistent nasal, eye, or chest symptoms, see your doctor. If your respiratory problems are severe (e.g., shortness of breath, difficulty breathing), go to the emergency department or seek care from your physician as soon as possible.

Generally, your physician will be able to identify the problem by examining you and asking questions. Treatment can begin without further evaluation or testing.

Tests and x-ray films are not required except under unusual circumstances. If you don’t respond well to treatment or if there is any doubt about what is causing the reaction, an allergy specialist (allergist) can use skin tests that may identify the allergen. Many people find this worthwhile before going through elaborate procedures to remove allergens from their home or making the painful decision to get rid of a pet.

An allergic sensitivity is a reaction of the immune system to a foreign “invader,” a substance that is not native to your body. Exposure to this invader, an allergen, triggers the reaction.

When the allergen particles come to rest in the linings of the eyes, nose, or airway of a susceptible person, an allergic reaction can occur. Most people with asthma or hay fever or other outdoor allergies think of their home as a haven where they can escape their allergies. Unfortunately, houses and apartment buildings harbor their own allergens (agents that cause allergy symptoms). The inside of your home actually traps allergens, making them impossible to avoid.

Unlike seasonal allergies such as hay fever, indoor allergies may last all year long. Indoor allergens may provoke or worsen asthma symptoms, depending on a person’s unique sensitivities. Sensitivity to indoor allergens is very common and occurs at every age. It is less common in children younger than 5 years. People most likely to experience allergic rhinitis are those in early school and early adult years.

The single best thing you can do to stop the reaction is to reduce your exposure to the allergens. If it is animal dander causing your allergic reaction, you do have options.

Keeping the animal outdoors all the time is a partial solution, but your home will still have greater amounts of dander than if the animal is removed altogether. You may want to see an allergist to confirm that your pet is the cause of the symptoms before making the painful decision to get rid of a pet. If you decide to remove the animal, it may take as long as 6 months or longer for the allergy symptoms to go away completely.

Before getting a pet, spend indoor and outdoor time with other animals of the same species to make sure all family members can tolerate the dander. Remember that allergies tend to run in families. If you are allergic to animal dander, your children may be too. Also, even people who do not have problems initially may develop them later. It is practically impossible to remove all house dust with all its allergens from your home.

Chinese parents seek professional help to help provide children with "sex education"

An increasing number of Chinese parents, most of whom belong to the post-80s generation, have urged for professional help to help them provide their children with sex education.

"I need professional help for my six-year-old boy as the teachers in kindergarten have no idea about sex education," China Daily quoted a 30-year-old mother, who refused to be named, as saying.

She alleged that a kindergarten teacher yelled at her son for saying that he loves a girl in his class, after which he refused to attend further classes.

Although she tries to find information on sex education for children online, not all of this information, however, is accurate, she said.

The mother is planning to pay for a four-hour course from Hu Ping, a sexologist who has given lectures on sex education in about 50 Chinese cities.

"The problem of sex education in China is not about a dearth of knowledge, but a lack of proper methods to spread the knowledge. Professional sex educationists in China are not up to the mark," Hu said.

"Sexual education should begin when your baby is born. The first class should teach them to respect their body," she added.

A man has been killed in India after the mobile phone he was using exploded, according to reports.

The victim, named as 23-year-old Gopal Gujjar, suffered serious injuries to his right ear, neck and shoulders.
There were no witnesses to the incident - but it was assumed he was talking on his Nokia when the blast happened in the northern state of Rajasthan.
His body was found along with the remains of the phone and battery near his farm in Banda village, Kota, reported the Times of India.
Police believe he was killed by the device after discovering pieces of the Nokia 1209 handset, a basic model released in August 2008, scattered nearby.
The victim had gone into a forest to tend to his grazing cattle around noon and his body was recovered later that night.
The Times of India said it was probably the first incident in the country where a mobile phone had exploded while it was not being charged.
In January this year, a 27-year-old housewife in Kadapa was killed while she was talking to her husband using a Chinese-made mobile and charging it at the same time.
Deaths due to mobile phone explosions have been reported in countries such as China, South Korea and Nepal.
However, the South Korean incident was later exposed as a hoax.
